Mahj in the City GBR was created when Dawn Birdsong and Jennifer Doughty decided to team up to teach Mahjong and run the Bambird Scramble in the Greater Baton Rouge area. They are, above all, wives, mothers, grandmothers and family business owners. They separately found a love for the game of Mahjong and the connections it creates, and wanted to share it with as many people as possible. They both find joy in scrambling, teaching lessons, hosting open play nights, and other special events. They would ask you one question…”What are you waiting for?” Come join the fun!!
